Privacy Policy
1. Information we collect
When you register for a class, we collect your first name, email address, and the reminder preferences you provide. You may also choose to provide your city and country; we store these optional details with your class registration. When you check in for a class, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. If you contact us, we also receive the information included in your message. Our current registration form does not request payment information or a telephone number.
The registration form has timezone capture enabled, which automatically records your timezone when you submit. The form’s Save Progress setting is disabled. Completed registrations remain saved. Our technology providers also process technical information to deliver and secure the website and form, as described below.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to manage class registration, provide class-access details and resources, communicate schedule changes, respond to questions, and provide the reminders you request.
We may also use information to maintain our website, address technical problems, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Choosing an optional class reminder does not automatically authorize unrelated marketing.
3. Service providers and disclosures
We use GoHighLevel and LeadConnector to help store registration information and manage communications on our behalf. Information needed for these functions is processed through those services.
The website and registration form load fonts and supporting resources from Google and content-delivery providers. These providers may process technical information needed to deliver their services.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the registration form from automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical signals such as IP addresses and browser information for security and to improve its bot-detection capabilities. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum for more information.
Classes are delivered using Zoom. When you use Zoom, a calendar service, or another linked website, that provider’s privacy notice may also apply to information it collects directly.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process. Additional sharing practices, if introduced, will be described in this policy.
4. Cookies and website technology
Website features may use cookies, similar technologies, and technical information to operate properly. Browser settings may allow you to manage cookies, although disabling them can affect some features.
Email delivery and tracking
Open and click tracking are disabled for our sending domain, send.jointheclassroom.com. We retain delivery, bounce, and unsubscribe reporting to manage email delivery and honor your communication preferences. Linked websites and other services may use their own technologies.
5. Your choices
You can use the unsubscribe option in our emails to stop the communications covered by that option. You may also contact us to change your reminder preferences or ask about your information.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restrictions on certain uses of your information. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Legal exceptions may apply.
6. Retention and security
Future-updates subscribers: We keep your details while you remain subscribed and the information is needed, with an annual review.
Course-only registrants: We review registration records 12 months after the course ends and remove information no longer needed, subject to applicable legal obligations and handling requests or disputes.
Unsubscribed people: We retain only enough information to honor your unsubscribe preference and avoid accidentally emailing you again.
No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Children’s privacy
All ages may attend our classes. For children under 13, a parent or guardian should register using their own name and email. Please do not enter the child’s contact details. We encourage parents to attend with young children.
Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us for assistance.
Class recordings
Classes are recorded and may be made available to future students in our course vault. If you appear on camera or speak, your image or voice may be included.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide that notice or obtain consent.
